MILAN FASHION WEEK – MY WORK AS A BUYER
The fashion buyer is a key figure in the fashion industry, responsible for selecting and purchasing the products that will be sold in physical or online stores. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, sales dynamics, and consumer preferences.
During events like Milan Fashion Week, buyers attend runway shows and visit showrooms to identify garments and accessories to include in upcoming store collections. They work closely with designers and suppliers, negotiating prices and terms.
Their decisions significantly influence a store’s offerings—and, in turn, the final choices of consumers.
To be successful, a fashion buyer must have strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a keen eye for style and emerging trends.
I love when women—in life, and even more so in fashion—can collaborate to create an alchemy that we can “broadcast” every season for all those who want to feel truly comfortable in their own skin.

Research and travel are the foundation of my work, allowing me to understand, moment by moment, how to help a woman feel beautiful.

The trade fair is always a wonderful rediscovery of colleagues, buyers, and friends—a chance to compare notes on the current Italian market.

As a professional buyer, I always keep in mind who I have in front of me and how I can best help them
whether it’s choosing pieces in a boutique or working directly in the wardrobes of my clients, who love having my guidance as they move toward a new style.

Among the most remarkable women I met this year: the owner of LE PETIT PULLE, whose aesthetic resonates deeply with mine—high-quality minimal chic, effortlessly wearable in everyday life.

Loubna and I had a great conversation about fabric quality—how it’s often the key to a successful outfit. We agreed that just a few, well-chosen pieces, matched with the right accessories, can define the perfect wardrobe.

Hanita.
A lovely, super chic event.
Beautiful & simple people, a very wearable collection for the upcoming winter, laughter and photos with models…
