Milan Fashion Week 2025: A Journey Through Elegance and Freedom with Tod’s and Dolce & Gabbana

Milan Fashion Week is always a must-attend event for fashion lovers — a unique occasion to discover future trends and immerse oneself in the creativity of iconic designers.
This year, as an Image Consultant and Personal Shopper, I had the privilege of attending two shows that represented two opposite yet complementary worlds: the refined and sophisticated elegance of Tod’s, and the bold, explosive street style of Dolce & Gabbana.
An experience that truly showcased fashion’s diversity — a universe that doesn’t limit itself to a single vision, but embraces a wide range of expressions and cultures.

Tod’s: Rooted Elegance, Comfort, and Sophistication

The first event I attended was the Tod’s show — a brand that has always embodied the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, luxury and everyday practicality.
The setting chosen for the runway show was refined and intimate, perfectly reflecting the soul of the brand: a fashion rooted in tradition, capable of expressing high craftsmanship while paying attention to modern life and refined details.

Tod’s continues to invest in the quality of its materials and a timeless aesthetic. Under the creative direction of Matteo Tamburini, the brand is evolving towards a more mindful and refined approach to consumption

If I had to define Tod’s fashion from my perspective? It’s not just a style — it’s a true philosophy of life.

Dolce & Gabbana: The Freedom of Street Style

The second show I attended was a completely different world.
Dolce & Gabbana brought an explosion of freedom and creativity to the Milan runway, delivering a show that boldly challenged conventions.
The location was key in communicating the brand’s message: an open-air runway in the heart of the city, where fashion became a true public performance, lived directly in the streets.

The musical soul of the event was Victoria De Angelis whose talent added a whole new dimension to the show, amplifying the visual experience with powerful sound.
Her presence elevated the theme of freedom of expression, a core value of Dolce & Gabbana’s identity

One of the most striking elements was the use of oversized garments, blending a streetwear aesthetic with subtle sensuality.
The fusion of lingerie-inspired details with urban fashion became a bold manifesto — a celebration of contrasts: the comfortable and the provocative, the urban and the intimate.
